Mother Elizabeth

Hello,

My work as in EMS trained me to help and rescue people medically.  Yet, I yearned for something more existential and for God.  I went to Rowan and graduated with a psychology degree and now I am on my way to a master's in social work.  I have been working with and training with Fr. Jack and now I run the Order of Companions.  I am so happy to be a member of the parish and look forward to seeing God's work spread in a profound and wonderful way.

My Story

I was born in South Jersey the youngest of three sisters.  My parents were Roman Catholic but were alienated by the RC church and decided to search for another church.  Eventually, years later my parents did return to a more accepting RC parish.  We were brought up to be good people with a great positive outlook and to have fun in life.

After high school, I had a career in EMS.  My father was a fire chief and encouraged me to join.  I was injured during a traumatic rescue and now I am a second responder for the fire company.

I love to have fun and enjoy making my friends laugh and having a good time.  I have many interests and a lot of friends.  Although, I have a couple more tough semesters to finish my master's degree I am looking forward to helping people.

I had an experience with God that really made me realize that I am called to be a nun and I am so excited to pursue this journey and see where God takes us!
